Negro Volcano in Nicaragua

Hey everyone, this is one of the volcanos we saw when we went to pick up Bryan from his mission. Nancy, Keri and I went down to Nicaragua to pick up Bryan last October. We (See Keri and Bryan in the picture) hiked up to the top and slid down on a board. See the anteater we saw near the top!

Now that I know I can do this, I am in! Love you all. Paul

Paul, fantastic photos! Is that an anteater? Once we get Jill and Christy posting to this, we'll have a family record of a different sort than we've ever had. Many thanks. Scott

Well I guess you said it was an anteater. Forget my question. Let me ask a new one: Are there ants on that barren volcano?

We didn't see any ants on the volcano, but a swarm of bees came at us and we had to duck!
This volcano is next to two other ones that once a year, a running race over all three volcanos happens. The winners do it barefoot!
